Upgrading To Dreamweaver CS4

I meet people all the time who are still using versions of Dreamweaver that are 5 to 8 years old. While, yes, they may still work, and you can still code your HTML in those versions, the new CS4 is like stepping up from DOS to Windows 7 (for those of you who remember the good ole DOS days)

Getting Dreamweaver Video Tutorial Help

If you are going to invest in the software to upgrade to the latest version of Dreamweaver, you will want to invest a bit of money and time into getting a decent online video tutorial help. I’m not talking about getting those $150 discs you see advertised on latenight TV. Rather, check out Easy Dreamweaver Tutorials.

I’ve been a coder for about 8 years now. When I finally stepped up to version CS4, not only did my sites take a huge leap into the 21st century, but I noticed my conversions go up, my visitors staying on the site longer, and more people bookmarking and linking to my site. So, it’s not just an issue of writing cleaner code, it’s also a money issue (or the money you’re leaving on the table) by not getting properly trained.

One of the things I really like about Brian Wood’s tutorials is that it is a lifetime tutorial. If Dreamweaver upgrades or adds on new stuff, Brianwill put out new videos and you get those at no cost. I like that.

The other thing I like about these Easy Dreamweaver Tutorial sets is that it pretty much covers evertyhing, from A to Z. Too many people get a piece of software and only use 5-10% of its potential. Mark is going to teach you how to get its full potential.

Just check out the AskBrianWood.com site. Look at the testimonials that are there. You can see that it’s not just me saying this stuff, but lots of others believe this is the best stuff to learn Dreamweaver.

You know and I know that Dreamweaver is the #1 web editor on the market. There really isn’t a close second. All other editors compare themselves to DW. There is a reason for this.

One of the key points that I learned in the modules was this – advanced CSS techniques. I knew some CSS, but I was able to take what I learned to get my pages to load faster. Faster loading pages mean happier visitors, and some say it even helps in your ranking in the search engines.

One other cool feature – I was able to have my kids watch the Dreamweaver Video Tutorial for them to learn how to use it too. Before then, I was building their sites for them. Now they can do it on their own.
